Capturing bases is done by killing all the generals and captains in the surrounding area and affects battle dynamics – the more bases you capture, the stronger your army will be. The objective is to fight enemies and capture their bases in an attempt to push forward and seize the main enemy camp. In Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, the core gameplay takes place on a battlefield where you take control of a warrior in the third-person view.
